When stewing on the act of fishing and why I hated it, the “Pro Gamer Tips” you can extract from it smacked me in the face like a salmon slapping me upside the head. 🗣️ There’s merit in having patience as you seek that new “high score” in gaming, dealing with the monotony of staring at the line for hours and staying afloat when your situation goes haywire.
Plus, who would ever write a children's book about fishing? Somebody has to do it, and it might as well be me! 💙
If we raise $1,000 for Starlight Children’s Foundation by October 1st, 2024, the Pro Gamer’s Guide to Fishing manuscript will be released as a FREE download through the Pro Gamer’s Guide Fan Club (no paid subscription necessary). You can even use your donation dollars to vote for the name “Big Tuna!” 🦈
If we reach 60 Pro Gamer’s Guide Fan Club members (Level 1 or higher) by November 1st, 2024, Kevin will draw five sketch illustrations of pages from the manuscript and one publishing-quality, fully colored illustration (like the ones you see in the actual books!) The community will vote on which pages get sketches and the fully rendered illustration. The entire PDF will be available for FREE download by the end of 2024.

With the spooky season swiftly approaching and a pumpkin-spicy lineup of plans for the Fan Club, we wanted to start our first "Membership Milestones!"
Pro Gamer's Guide Halloween Costumes 2024!
YOU get to decide the Halloween costumes for Brian, Pauly, Cecelia, and Cuddles!
If we unlock the milestones for the Fan Club, Kevin and I will post polls for each character's costumes, and you'll vote on which terrifying (or adorable) outfit each character will dress as.
MEMBERSHIP MILESTONES
Any members joining at Level 1 or higher contribute to the Milestone drive.
Kevin will fully illustrate the winning idea and offer a special coloring page variant as a FREE digital download for Fan Club Members.
We currently have 14 members of the Fan Club at Level 1 or higher, which is a great start, AND so close to the Cuddles Costume vote!
So whether you're dipping your toe into the PGG universe or excited to see more lore, we're ready to make it happen alongside you!
